Ohio is typically known for agriculture and trees. However, thanks to people passionate about preserving natural ecosystems, it also has several restored prairies and wetlands. One of these parks, Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park, is part of the American Bison restoration program. I am fortunate to live near some of these projects and regularly find joy in the beauty of these nature preserves. Here are some of my favorite photos from exploring these parks.
