On a chilly and overcast December morning in 2025, I went to Praire Oaks Metro Park for my usual morning bit of sunlight, and I was blown away with the perfect light. Everywhere I looked the park was still and soft in the golden hour morning glow and I wanted to take pictures of everything in sight. I got several that I love that morning, but this one was no happy accident. I saw the rocks in the water forming a line pointing to the distance shore and I know the clarity of the water was just right to make this a gorgeous scene - and I am so pleased I searched for the right place to stand. This is one of my all time favorite photos, and I hope you love it, too.
