The Edges

Something special happens where nature and humans intersect: a unique blending of infrastructure and life.

Wildlife find homes in our suburban gardens and parks. Our structures change the look and feel of otherwise natural spaces. We work to foster native plants and animals, finding calm in the places they thrive.

These edges hold beautiful, overlooked stories.

While landscape photographers hunt for scenes without traces of people, and street photographers thrive in the bustle of human activity and architecture, I, a nature photographer, sit in-between, observing the interplay of life at the edges.

These blendings are the beauty of the now and the ordinary, the past and the future. They are nostalgic and sad, hopeful and wonderful. They give me peace and a fresh perspective.

I hope you join me on this journey.
