About Me

Hi there! I'm Chere' Evans, a photographer living in central Ohio. In the summer of 2022, I fulfilled a life-long dream and purchased my first camera, a Canon Rebel T7. I was eager to take a few photos of the flowers in my garden. Instead, I quickly fell deeply in love with photography and realized I had gained so much more than I had expected.

I am a software developer and a Dr. of Business Administration. I’m a wife, a mom of two, and an active member of a Southern Baptist church. I also homeschool my younger daughter, and I have had to manage Seasonal Affective Disorder most of my life. Thus, my days can readily lean high stress, sedentary, and generally unhealthy unless I intentionally make space for my mental and physical health. Photography was, in many ways, a lifesaver.

Photography helps me slow down and regain perspective. It encourages me to take long walks and explore new places, regardless of the weather. It helps me find serenity and reminds me of the Creator's love and majesty. I try to go out multiple times a week, if not daily, even if it is only for 20 minutes at a time. Photography has become a way of life that helps me find peace in the midst of our busy world.

And now I want to share this gift I have received with you. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I enjoy crafting them for you.
